You eventually get closer to Space Marines than this statue. ... before (literally) throwing you into the trenches. The intro cinematic has some nice looking background on the 40K universe. Yes, there's a sniper rifle. There has to be a sniper rifle doesn't there? Want to be a Space Marine? You'll have to settle for multiplayer (if you can find a game). Sparing no expense on background decoration, the designers use art from 40K rule books. It's no coincidence that your weapons look like Nerf guns, that's about how much damage they do.
