Warzone 2100 is a real-time action/strategy game set in the post-nuclear world of 21st century Earth. Conduct research, design and manufacture vehicles, build new structures, and prepare your plans of global conquest. Discover new technologies, manage your resources, and defend your camp against invaders. Be sure to design your weapons and vehicles well, or they won't be able to fight to the finish. The graphics are excellent (especially with a 3Dfx card), and the special effects give Warzone 2100 a very realistic feel. Rotatable and zoomable cameras let you instantly go anywhere on the map. Weapons range from bullets and lasers to explosive weapons that blast large areas of the highly detailed 3D battlefield. A tutorial guides you through the process of exploring, researching, building, and manufacturing. This demo supports four players in local or Internet play. The retail game will handle eight players, three campaigns, and 36 missions. If you survive the demo experience, you'll have to have the full game.
