The Ice Climbers appear as a playable character in the Wii game Super Smash Bros.: Brawl.

In the original Japanese version, one of Popo and Nana's main enemies was a seal. In the American version, the seal was replaced with a Yeti-like creature.

However, in the American version of Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS, the Ice Climber themed level shows the eskimos once again fighting a seal in the animations while you play.

The Ice Climbers Popo and Nana remained dormant in video game history until they made their tag-team return in 2001's "Super Smash Bros.: Melee" for the Nintendo Gamecube.
