Description

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed follows the timeline between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope that tells the story of a young apprentice of Darth Vader who is trained and sent out to eliminate the remaining Jedi in the galaxy.

While this version is similar to the 360, PS3, and PS2 versions, it features the same story line in terms of the PlayStation 2 version and has a different control scheme that uses the Wii Remote for controlling the lightsaber and the Nunchuk to use force powers.

This version also contains a "duel mode" where players can go head-to-head with characters throughout the Star Wars universe. The engine does not match the game engines from the PS3 and 360 or the Havok engine, but rather relies on the in-house engine of the developer, Krome, with some ragdoll effects mixed with preset animations.

Trivia

Shaak Ti makes an appearance in the game as one of the bosses, but she also made two appearances in the second trilogy. She is in the Battle of Genosis as one of the Jedi attempting to free Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padme, and also appeared in Revenge of the Sith, where she was killed by General Grievious. However, since this death scene was cut from the original version, she was not "officially killed off" and could be used for the game. Her death scene can be seen here.
