Computer Gaming World (CGW)
The game’s incidentals are OK; the sound and music are nice,
and the graphics range from adequate to lovely, if a bit dated.
Surprisingly, though, play regularly became chunky on my
Pentium-Il 266/Voodoo3 system — a machine that plays UNREAL
TOURNAMENT smoothly at 1024x768.
Overall, WILD WILD WEST provides some fun, but not too much. If you don’t count the time spent searching for tiny hotspots, the game doesn’t take very long at all to play through — maybe 15 hours — which is good news for game reviewers, but bad news for actual garners.
