APBA presents: Baseball for Windows
Description
APBA presents: Baseball for Windows is a baseball simulation based on the board game APBA Baseball and an updated re-release of the 1993 version of the same name. The gameplay is focused on simulating single matches by using statistics which are kept for every athlete. The player's input is making decisions for every step of the match, e.g. how a pitcher should act. There is also the option to create custom teams and leagues.
The two main additions to this version is voice commentary by Ernie Harwell (a long-time radio baseball commenter) and the option to import athletes from Bill James Electronic Encyclopedia (a Major League Baseball database on CD-ROM).
