C.H.A.O.S. on varsin mielenkiintoinen peli. Se antaa enemmän mahdollisuuksia vaikuttaa ympäristöön kuin Critical Path ja on pelimäisempi kuin Quantum Gate. 256-värinen grafiikka on hienoa kautta linjan. Videot on ympätty peliin siten, ettei niitä oikeastaan huomaa. Maisemat ovat uskottavan näköisiä.

Das stumpfe Abklappern diverser Räume, die lineare Handlung und das Fehlen echter Puzzles lassen Motivation oder echten Spielwitz gar nicht erst aufkommen. Drücke ich jetzt schnell genug einmal auf "Fire" oder zerbretzelt mich die feindliche Sonde? Habe ich alle drei Menüpunkte abgerufen, oder einen vergessen? Ich denke nicht, daß sich irgendwer für derartige Minimalansprüche interessieren wird.
