Zugegebenermaßen gehört der amerikanische Bürgerkrieg für mich nicht unbedingt zu den interessantesten Schauplätzen für eine digitale Konfliktsimulation. Die gerade mal drei Standard-Truppensorten Artillerie, Kavallerie und Infantrie bieten auf Dauer einfach zu wenig Abwechslung. Zudem empfinde ich es auch eher als lästig, mich ständig um Nachschub - und Moralprobleme kümmern zu müssen. Davon und von der nicht animierten Biederpräsentation aber mal abgesehen, gehört Civil War Generals 2 sicherlich zu den besseren Vertretern seiner Art.
