Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures isn't great—in fact, its low quality graphics, sound, and control keep me from even calling it good, but it is a nice way to waste a few hours while you're stuck on a plane with a laptop. If you were a big fan of the early eighties Nintendo adventure games, check this one out. If, however, you're a fan of high production values or novel video gaming, you'll probably want to leave this one on the shelf.

The Good Old Days
Both the strength of these enemies and the size of the 'world' can be set, and so a typical game lasts between ten minutes and an hour. Not anything to train the brain with. Not the sequel of Fate of Atlantis which the fans had been waiting for. Just a nice waste of time for the lunch break.

PC Games
The only things that really change are the types of items to find and where they're located. Technically, Indiana Jones is different and the first dozen times, but after that you get a funny feeling of "deja vu all over again". Low price aside, this game should have been better.

Adventure Classic Gaming
Following the track of success laid down by Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, LucasArts has decided to give its intrepid hero Indy his own run as a “desktop adventure” as well. Despite its Indiana Jones license, however, Indiana Jones and His Desktop Adventures cannot be compared to other games from the series. This is because it plays more like an average desktop gadget than a real point and click adventure.
