Press Release (April 25, 1995):

    Discis expands global presence with signing of German and French exclusive distribution deals;
    Jewels of the Oracle-Entertainment strategy game on CD-ROM-to be localized for German and French markets

    TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 25, 1995--Discis Knowledge Research Inc., publisher of entertainment and educational CD-ROMs, today announced that its global presence will be greatly expanded as a result of two new exclusive international distribution deals that it has entered into, one with German software distributor Navigo Multimedia and the other with French software distributor Ubi Soft. The signing of these deals comes on the heels of another exclusive international distribution deal that Discis recently secured, with Japanese-based Catena Corp.

    Navigo Multimedia and UBI Soft will distribute Discis' captivating new entertainment strategy game on CD-ROM, Jewels of the Oracle, into designated European countries. Navigo will release Jewels into Europe's largest multimedia market, Germany, Austria, and into the German-speaking part of Switzerland; leading French software distributor Ubi Soft will deliver the title to France and Belgium. Jewels of the Oracle, now available in the United States, will be widely distributed into the German and French markets later this spring.

    "The multimedia industry is experiencing tremendous growth on a global scale and an increased demand for high-quality multimedia products," said Richard Wah Kan, vice president of market development at Discis. "Jewels of the Oracle is an example of a state-of-the-art product, which will universally entertain, challenge and engage its users."

Back of Jewel Case - Windows/Win 3.x (US):
    Only one legacy remains of the civilization known throughout the Fertile Crescent before the Sumarians. People of extraordinary intellect, their pursuits were of the mind instead of conquering and fighting. They built a secret complex to train and practice their skills of logic and reason. Using technologies and ancient magic long since forgotten, they constructed devices of incredible ingenuity. Those who entered the domain of the Oracle and resolved all the tasks set before them went on to greatness. Those who failed ... were lost forever. This structure, lost to the archeological record, has been sought for millennia but never found ... until now.

    Discover hidden chambers exquisitely rendered in stunning photo-realistic 3-D.

    Indulge yourself in a 3-D animated world surrounded by seductive music, captivating sounds and oracular voices.
