Description
Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel is a famous childrens book about a man and his out dated construction equipment. This virtual incarnation of the book features a reading by actress Madeline Kahn. All pictures from the book are included and they are slightly animated at that.
In addition to the reading the disk has on it four games: A Memory/Matching game, a maze, A pattern recognition game where one builds steam shovels, and a little area devoted to how steam shovels work.
Also included is an interesting mini biography of author Virginia Lee Burton. With photos, images of her other works, comparison of her sketches, and family commentary.
As a final bonus both Music and Narration can be played on a standard CD.
