Starting a level

There are a variety of enemies for you to hack into bloody pieces

Dead wizards drop potions, which give you some useful upgrades

When you have enough mana, you must open a gate to the next level

If you wait too long to open the gate, the Angels of Mortuum come

Later levels give you new weapons, like the emerald mace...

...and the Ruby Axe

But sometimes you die...again...
