Sieht man mal von den Nachlässigkeiten ab, bleibt Shanghai immer noch ein geniales Spiel, das leider seit langem im Schatten von Tetris steht. Das Steine-Wegklicken hat nahezu beruhigend-hypnotischen Charakter. Da Shanghai immer mal zu einer kurzen Zehn-Minuten-Runde einlädt, ist die Windows-Umsetzung für Büro-PCs höchst willkommen. Shanghai ist ein guter Beweis dafür, daß die wirklich innovativen Ideen eben nie altern - wenn man sie doch nur originalgetreu umsetzen würde.
