Titanic heeft mooie achtergronden en een goed verhaal met vele mogelijkheden. Echter, je moet steeds starten met CD1, terwijl het grootste stuk van het spel op CD2 staat.

Is Titanic a good game? Yes and no. Yes, there is an interesting story, a visually sumptuous and often thrilling re-creation of the ship, and much to do and see. But a disproportionate amount of time is taken up watching twitchy talking heads natter endlessly. How much you enjoy it will depend on how much you like interactive dialog. I was willing to go along with CyberFlix on this journey because they had a worthwhile tale to tell, but it certainly tried my patience at times.

Bei der einschläfernden Atmospähre ist es kein Wunder, daß die Titanic auf einen Eisberg gelaufen ist. Dasbei ist das Spiel eigentlich gar nicht schlecht, es zieht sich nur furchtbar in die Länge. Das ist umso bedauerlicher, weil die ganze Aufmachung eigentlich sehr stimmungsvoll ist. Bis ins kleinste Detail wurde auf Authentizität geachtet: Das Flugticket für einen Zeppelin ist in Deutsch, die Missionsbeschreibung wird Ihnen per Grammophon übermittelt.
