The back cover of this one claims to require DirectX 3.1 or higher. Does such a version of DirectX actually exist? Wikipedia just lists 3.0, 3.0a, 3.0b, and then 5.0, and google only turns up a couple of mentions (amid a pile of "3.0 DirectX 3.1 OpenGL" type results), which could also be mistaken.

On a search with quotes, "DirectX 3.1", it turns up quite a few results. Apparently Dark Reign requires it too?
