Countdown Promotional Games
Prior to the release of the game, Yahtzee also wrote three brief text adventure games to promote
6 Days a Sacrifice:
Countdown 1 - The Body,
Countdown 2 - The Soul and
Countdown 3 - The Mind. These adventures are in the standard
Infocom Z-machine format, and thus can be played via a text adventure interpreter such as one of the many ports of Frotz.
References
Apparently "Optimology" referenced in the game is a not-so-subtle dig at the Scientology religion.
