Description

Abaddon is a role playing game developed in the style of such titles as Phantasy Star and Dragon Warrior. However, it's different in a number of ways. First, the objective isn't to fight evil or slay beasts. Instead, you play the egomaniacal Duke Gilead, a despot facing his inevitable death. Rather than giving up his beloved House Levai, he decides to venture forth and discover the secret to immortality. As you help Gilead reach his dubious goal, you'll experience many adventures and a wild assortment of creatures.

Abaddon presents a top-down perspective. You'll use your keyboard to send Gilead from screen to screen, and to converse with the people you encounter. Abaddon uses the traditional branching approach to dialog and events, where you're given a number of options for each action. Throughout, you can collect items and coins as well as monitor your health. By defeating creatures that attack, you'll obtain the experience points necessary to advance.
