African Safari is a scenery add-on package for Microsoft Flight Simulator 95 and/or Microsoft Flight Simulator 98.

In these simulators the continent of Africa was not especially well covered with many, if not all, airports being represented by a single runway. This package adds airport buildings and static aircraft to existing airports and enhances the terrain using US military maps. The documentation says the produce has ten or more towns, three national parks, forty named airports and around thirty unnamed small airports, and all the range beacons in Africa (as they were in 1998).

African Safari Windows The Installation Details button brings up this help window which partially overwrites the main install screen. It shows the installation path which is needed later
African Safari Windows The main menu is in the form of a map of Africa. Each location is an installation hot spot. Here Capetown has been highlighted by moving the mouse cursor over it.
African Safari Windows This is the cockpit view of Capetown airport using the Data Becker scenery and looking towards the hills through a little light cloud.
