Description
Alchemia is a point and click adventure game similar to the
Samorost series. You play a character called "Noses", the main character of the game's predecessor
Haluz 2, on a quest to create a new body for the soul of a strange mechanic creature you have accidentally killed.
Compared to the free online version the Extended Version has 5 additional levels and 9 new locations, which tend to be more complex than the original levels. However the goal stays the same: You have to follow the ghost of the creature through a fantastic underground city. The puzzles usually revolve around opening a way to be able to exit the scene - to do so you have to trigger actions by clicking on hotspots indicated by a different mouse cursor. In case you should get stuck the game contains an ingame walkthrough for each scene.
Graphics and sound have an ambient mood, the graphic style looks like a montage of conventional photographs and close-ups of various materials combined with drawn or animated elements.
