Game Tunnel (Nov 29, 2003)
With a wonderful array of weapons, non-stop action, splendid graphics, eerie music and a wonderful adventure setting, Alien Shooter is a game that delivers on every front. Another reason I suggest that you immediately buy the game instead of playing the demo is that this is a game where the demo just doesn't give you nearly enough insight into the game. From the moment the freaky music of the full version came on after I fired the full version up, I knew that there was a lot in the full version that I hadn't even guessed on. My original reason for wanting to try the full version was to check out the turret guns you get to sit in. I wouldn't have guessed how much more cool stuff I would get.

The graphics are great, but I guess a little old school as they are pixel art (no 3D card effects are used). The sound effects do the job and the music is fine – it’s one long music track which is part techno and part metal. The scrolling is totally smooth on my PC (P4 3.2GHz) and there was no slow down at any time even though tons was going on. My two only criticisms are that there was no real change in scenery, it was the same alien base the entire time, and that the game was too short really – I blasted through it in a couple of intense hours. However, there are mission packs that you can buy for it called The Experiment ($14.95 - 5 levels) and Fight for Life ($12.50 - 5 levels) which could be worth checking out. Anyway, a thoroughly enjoyable game, I totally recommend it, and so I’m gonna give it a great score.
Absolute Games ( (Jun 18, 2004)
Retrogaming History (Mar 27, 2009)
PC Zone (Apr 18, 2004)
You may think the game looks a bit old-hat, but I can assure you the gameplay is anything but. Sadly, what the game does lack is a multiplayer mode - but for this price, Alien Shooter is excellent value even without it.
Imperium Gier (Apr 22, 2004)
GameSpot (Nov 21, 2005)
While the game does have some depth to it--you can purchase additional weapons--the action is generally unsatisfying, though the way that all the corridors get smeared with alien corpses and blood after a prolonged firefight at least looks nice.
PC Games (Germany) (Mar, 2004)

Alle anderen halten die Finger still.
