Summary

"whoaaaa!"

The Good

The graphics in this game are excellent and the game runs very smoothly. There are some cracking real life sound effects and you are totally immersed in the gameplay. You have the option to join a clan and have voice communication between squad members over a separate program called Teamspeak. There are loads of missions and the fact you have to pass your basic training before you are let loose makes for hardened combatants in game. This is no easy task to sail through all the missions unscathed and you have to be a darn good shot to survive. A good feature is the personal location indicator which at the touch of a button tells your squad your position in the map without having to type out long sentences or tie up the Teamspeak.

The Bad

Some of your characters movement is restricted when trying to get around. For example if you are climbing a ladder, the slightest movement to the side brings you to a halt even though you are 3/4 on the ladder. This is also an issue going round corners where you can snag quite easily. Whilst playing on line there is the issue of getting booted. It happens so fast you are unaware as to why you have been kicked! Slightly frustrating to say the least. There could also be better information of weapon loadout on each mission and what your options are as far as the "toys" are concerned.

The Bottom Line

MOH and Call of Duty rolled into a mass training and operations game. It has its good and bad points but if you like a first person shooters then you will enjoy it. Join a clan and you will feel a real sense of achievement when the computer announces, "The enemy has been eliminated!"
