The alien Catteni have arrived and crushed all organized resistance with their superior technology. Most cities lies in ruins, and many are dead. The Earth is under control of the "Provisional Authority", who rules in place of the aliens. Only the Resistance, a ragtag crew of freedom fighters over the world refused to give up... Join the crew of Angel Sanchez in their fight for freedom!

Freedom: First Resistance is an action game with puzzle-solving. Most of the gameplay is dedicated to exploring the 3D levels, fighting enemies, and using items to solve puzzles. The stand-out gameplay feature of the game is the player's ability to control five different characters. The player must use different characters in each mission (up to three at a time), having them advancing as a team, or splitting up. Some inventory items can be used only by specific characters.

Freedom trilogy

This is an adaptation of Anne McCaffrey's Freedom trilogy, released between 1995 and 1998. Later (2002) the fourth novel Freedom's Ransom was released.
