Arcade Lines is a puzzle game similar to Color Lines. It takes place on a board where pieces of various colors keep appearing, and the player's goal is to move pieces so that they form lines of five or more pieces of the same color. A piece can only be moved if it has a free path to its destination. Several new pieces appear in random spaces on the board after every move, but completing a line makes its pieces disappear and grants a bonus move. Each vanished piece grants the player score, and creating several lines consecutively gives combo bonuses. The game is over once the board is completely filled.

There is a number of special pieces; two-colored balls can be used to complete lines of either color, joker balls fit into a line of any color, dynamite blows up all pieces on the board of a particular color once it's put into a line, etc. There are several game modes available which differ in difficulty and rules, such as number of colors, frequency of special pieces or how crowded the game board gets.
