Auto Assault was a commercial flop at release: There were way to few players for an online game to be profitable, especially in Europe. After cutting the retail price of both standard and Collector's boxes by half (at least in Germany) without much impact on player numbers, NCSoft / NetDevil merged European and US servers to only one server (called "Nexus").
