Summary

Classic role playing at its very best.

The Good

Just about everything. Graphics, gameplay. The whole presentation is very clean, and there are plenty of improvements over BG1.

The Bad

The only big down side to BG2 would be the lack of multiplayer modes. I’d like to see a Co-Operative mode that is seperate to the single player adventure, or some variety in multiplayer modes (Deathmatch anyone?). It would add so much more to the series. The only other problem I have is the music. A few more tunes wouldn't have been hard to make.

The Bottom Line

One of the best sequels of 2000. If you loved the original BG or in the mood for some classic RPG fun, then Shadows of Amn will suit you down to the ground.
