Birth of America Windows Everything that the cursor touches brings up some helpful text, both in the game and in the menus. This game installs in English but the language can be changed to French or German via this menu Birth of America Windows Just putting the cursor over a region brings up information about that region. The picture bar at the top of the screen displays the type of terrain Birth of America Windows This is the tutorial screen. The tutorial is based on a campaign that the English lost. The armies are represented by pictures of their commanders. Birth of America Windows The message board in the lower right keeps the player informed of progress. Double clicking on a red message, here a British defeat at Camden, brings up more information. Birth of America Windows Clicking on the globe in the lower left brings up a book with lots more information. Each ribbon is a tag that opens up a different section in the book Birth of America Windows Camden is a major garrison, bigger than the British expected. Here the stats show an attack is being mounted by a much weaker force. Birth of America Windows The Ninety-Six garrison has been tasked with taking Winesboro. This screen shows their movement path and says it will take 26 days to get there. Birth of America Windows Moving the mouse pointer to the edge of the map causes the map to move. This is about as far east as the map of southern America goes
