Black & White

Is it sufficient enough to play B&W level 1 & 2 to play well in multiplayer game? There's no more tutorials in levels 3 onwards?

Also, can you give me hints, tips & advice on multiplayer games? .... I hear that all the skills & strength of your creature gained in single-player are carried across to multiplayer?

I was playing a game... and notice that the game is fixed at 30mins. Can this be set to a longer time? I was playing the king of the hill 3 player map. By the time my creature runs to the other base... there's only 3 minutes game play left.
