DescriptionBlocksum is a freeware puzzle game with some basic maths involved. The screen consists of a large column in which differently coloured squares with numbers appear from the bottom. The player controls a cursor to hover over the blocks. By pressing and holding a button while hovering, blocks can be joined with the numbered summation. For instance, joining a "2" and a "3" block will show a new one with "5". By keeping the button pressed while hovering over more blocks, they are all added. It takes a moment before matches are removed, so it is possible to prepare large chain combos for extra points.
To clear the field, blocks with the same number need to be gathered. There is another button to have new blocks appear faster and from time to time a magical block eraser appears. Join a numbered block with the eraser to have all blocks numbered same removed from the field. The higher the score, the higher the starting numbers for new blocks will be, along with new backdrops when the level goes up. When the blocks reach the top of the screen, the action is halted and two red markers move slowly to the top of the screen. The player then only has a few seconds left to make some saving moves.
A tutorial and a high score screen have been included, along with music and sound effects.
