Summary
With a merely passable engine, this game isn't much better than its prequel.
The Good
Nothing really. I liked
Blood merely because it was an excellent multiplayer, and with
Quake,
Unreal and
Starcraft I never saw a reason to examine this particular game in that regard. As such, nopes - not a good thing to say about this game.
The Bad
Argh! I didn't even make it past the first 10 minutes. This game is simply horrible -- it crawls to a screeching halt on my P2-350/TNT (Please! Even
Quake III runs at 30 frames per second!) while offering terrible graphics - blocky, too colourful, unlively images are all that the (in?)famuos LithTech 2.0 engine is able to produce.
With a ridiculously lame plot and weak background (the original Blood was a fiasco) this game fails to capture me in this regard as well; the sound is simply terrible and the controls aren't particularly good either.
In short, with Half-Life around, who needs this thing?
The Bottom Line
A really aweful game. If I were forced to play it, I doubt I would survive the experience.
