Summary
A good game idea, but the game itself is just boring!
The Good
Normally I've trouble to tell what I
don't like, but here it's the quite opposite.
Well, the graphics are OK, skinning of the blocks is a nice feature and to make use of the brain instead of just clicking the mouse as fast as possible is a good idea.
Hm, that's all.
The Bad
No music, you sitting there completely silent. OK, for the "thinking" it may be good for not distracting, but not for me...
The game offers only
one level! Once you cleared the "current" level, you are presented with the highscore. When the game starts to make a bit fun, it has already ended. :(
Since the dimension of the playfield is variable, it would be a good idea to have different game modes (except just the difficulty level, which influences only the colors). But no, dimension must be set manually. And they have no influence on the highscore, playing a tiny field or a big one doesn't matter (except that, of course, you score more on a big one).
The game window, while not the Windows standard, looks good, but it is a pain to actually move it. A standard Windows window would be much better and easier to use.
The game isn't addictive, it even isn't fun at all.
I have to admit, that I only played the unregistered shareware, but as far as I could see (and XDGames advertise), the registered version adds nothing, just removing the 10-days-trial-limitation.
The Bottom Line
Not fun even for a short time. Avoid it when possible. So, the 10$ for unlimited playtime is just worthless. If you don't believe me, download the shareware and try for yourself.
However, if you like the game idea, try
QBz, it's double expensive, but fun and addictive, which this game here is not.
