Description
Bring Down the Sky is the first downloadable content (DLC) for
Mass Effect. It requires the main game.
The access to its plot is allowed from the commander's star map on "Normandy" after Sheppard become a specter. Massive asteroid threatens to Terra Nova planet in Asgard system and you decided to investigate origin of the threat.
A new race is introduced in the add-on. It is Batarians, four-eyed bipeds, whose extremist group has hijacked a mobile asteroid station, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world.
As in most of the planet exploring missions, you'll start in Mako, and after eliminating enemy turrets and examining surface, you'll descend in several bunkers to eliminate enemies, meet survivors, collect items, and find the answers. Two side-quests are also present along with a main plot. In the end of the main plot, the uneasy dilemma about life and death should be solved by you.
Completing the mission, you'll be awarded with a new achievement, and certain nice weapon/armor will be given to your crew. It is strongly recommended to complete this add-on's mission during the main Mass Effect gameplay, because it gives an additional amount of experience and useful items.
