Description

Championship Fishing is a fishing simulation based on the waters around the UK.

The player gets the choice of twelve locations, six rivers and six real or artificial lakes. After selecting the venue the player selects the length of the game, the type of float, weight, bait, hook and then the fishing begins. The game is entirely mouse controlled. The player casts with a mouse click, holding the button down for greater distance. When a fish takes the bait the player uses one button to reel in the fish and the other button to to use the net to land the fish.

When the allotted time is up the players score, the weight of the fish caught, is compared to that of the other, fictional, fishermen / women and the top three are displayed as the winners followed by a league table.
