Description
Cinema Empire is a typical managerial simulation where the player manages a movie theater. The basic work procedure is no too complicated: The player rents a move to show in his theater. Well participated movies are more expensive but manage to draw an audience without having to rely on advertising. Then he plans the ads which he shows before and after the movie - of course the customers expect a certain amount of viewers or the player has to pay a fine. With the earned money he rents new movies and expands his cinema until it has up to eight halls.
Additionally settings are hiring employees, e.g. cashiers or cleaning personnel, in five competence ranks and modifying the prices for entering and snacks. The game features nine missions with different goals. The different locations are reached through a isometric city map and then the player opens the menus by clicking on the right spots on the not animated backgrounds.
The movies are not licensed but the game has an editor to change them.
