If you've got some time on your hands, you just might want to take a look at Spectrum Holobyte's latest puzzler, Clockwerx, where you play the part of a spinning clock hand and make your way through fiendish, mazelike screens. (--Mark Pitcavage)
(Ultimate Spin Doctor)
Unfortunately, there is no way to save your game in mid-play, so be sure you have quite a bit of time set aside before you start a game of Ultimate Spin Doctor. But, be warned! You really will get addicted to playing this fascinating, frustrating and fun game.
As action puzzle games go, this one is a cut above average. It requires both analysis and hand-eye coordination, but avoids the trap that the majority of arcade games fall into – it actually gets harder, rather than just faster. I recommend it for anyone frivolous enough to keep a Games menu in WINDOWS, and for anyone who needs a little diversion...without wanting to lose track of time.
If you're a fan of Alexey Pajitnov and his work on Tetris, save yourself the aggravation of ClockWerx and go play the classic instead. The problem is that ClockWerx doesn't really support its name.
