The uses of Snipers are obvious: Kill a dude wearing a helmet and disappear before his buddies can think of a swear word!
But Snipers also have a secondary use often taken for granted: their ability to Camouflage. As long as they are under camouflage orders, they will not be seen under any circumstance (except by anti-sniper units). This is extremely useful in the front lines as Snipers have a very long sight range which works well together with your artillery and other Snipers!
Just remember to opt the "Hold Fire" command or your "Sniper-Scout" will be another body bag in the front lines. |
