Summary

A beauty, and arguably best of the bunch

The Good

This site is meant to be an archive of old games, so its inevitable that there are going to be some wizened old-timers who contribute reviews about how good it was in the old days (when you couldn't see Guybrush's features or hear him speak). But let's not get too nostalgic about things, please. Situated between VGA/EGA graphics and the homogenous soup of 3D, this is witty, colourful, rich and clever: like the older two, but more so.

The Bad

I found the swirly clouds a bit annoying.

The Bottom Line

It tends to get billed as Monkey Island's 3rd ugly sister but I think its a beauty (and definitely better than the 4th one).
