Darkstone

The version I have is 1.0.0.0. I have downloaded a patch that updates the version to 1.03. When I try to install it a window appears that says:
This program will update Darkstone 1.02 to version 1.03. Continue?
I press "OK" and then I get another window that says:
Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match.

I tried to install the patch inside the folder the game is installed. I also tried both versions US and European but got the same message. Do I have to find and install the 1.02 version patch to make the patch version 1.03 work? If yes, do you know where I could find this patch version? I already checked FileFront, MegaGames, Fileplanet and GameWorld network and only found versions 1.03, 1.04 and 1.05.

Try downloading the 1.03 version from 3D Gamers. Used to work for me, thought I guess I don't have the 1.00 version. The readme says it addresses the 1.00 version, so I guess it should work.
