"Delta Force Xtreme" jest godną kontynuatorką serii gier z komandosami tej elitarnej jednostki w roli głównej. Obdarzona zajmującą fabułą, która nadaje tło każdej kampanii, niezmiernie starannie wykonana, o grafice i dźwięku na dobrym poziomie, oraz cenie więcej niż przystępnej powinna znaleźć się w kolekcji każdego Gracza, do czego szczerze zachęcam. Na koniec jeszcze raz słowa Podziękowania i Uznania dla CD Projekt, za niezmiernie profesjonalnie wykonana polską wersję językową i piękne wydanie tej gry.

NovaLogic macht sich selbst das Leben schwer. Wer Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising mit Begeisterung spielt braucht kein Delta Force: Xtreme und wer mit anderen im Netz spielen will greift besser gleich zu Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising. Weiterhin ist die Solo-Kampagne zu schwach um den (zugegeben sehr geringen) Kaufpreis zu rechtfertigen, da hilft auch der mitgelieferte Level-Editor wenig. Für wen ist also das Game? Vielleicht für alte Delta Force-Veteranen die sich in die Zeit von damals zurückversetzen wollen, nur mit der Grafik von heute. Allen anderen muss trotz des gelungenen Mehrspieler-Parts vom Kauf abgeraten werden…kauft Joint Ops!

Für den Mehrspielermodus ein dreifaches Bravo an Novalogic. In Delta Force Xtreme ist alles drin, was man sich für spannende Gefechte wünscht. Die Ranking-Liste sorgt für Langzeitmotivation. Dumm nur, dass im Solospiel die KI patzt. CPU-Gegner stehen gelegentlich blöd rum, die eigenen Einheiten sind keine Hilfe. Man merkt dem Missionsdesign trotz Runderneuerung sein Alter deutlich an. Mit Joint Operations kann sich Delta Force Xtrem zwar nicht messen. Wer aber auf der Suche nach spaßigen Online-Gefechten ist, ballert hier richtig.

Delta Force: Xtreme definitely won’t be replacing the other FPS’s on your computer, but it fills the niche of something to play when you want some quick and dirty action. If you’re looking for a shooter you can pick up and play quickly, easily, and cheaply, Delta Force: Xtreme might be a game for you.

Actually, nothing about Delta Force Xtreme really sticks out in any meaningful capacity. The PC is packed from front to back with quality shooters, so while Delta Force Xtreme is perfectly capable, with so much competition available, it's tough to really get excited about anything it does. But, with that said, for a $20 game, you could do a hell of a lot worse. So if you're a shooter fan on a budget, Delta Force Xtreme isn't a bad way to go.

Delta Force Xtreme ist für Einzelzocker genau das Gegenteil eines Innovations-Feuerwerks, kann aber den einen oder anderen Nostalgiker sicherlich vor den Monitor zerren. Die Mehrspieler-Vielfalt überzeugt dagegen allerdings.

Eine Neuauflage des allerersten Delta Force-Teils erwartet Sie bei diesem Ego-Shooter. Arbeitete damals noch im Hintergrund die Voxel-Engine, sorgt in Delta Force Xtreme die Technik aus Joint Operations und Comanche 4 für beeindruckende Landschaften und Effekte. Die Missionen, bei denen Sie aufseiten der Amerikaner Terroristen jagen, stammen aus dem Klassiker.

Back to the Roots: Die Delta-Force-Macher von Novalogic kehren zu den Ursprüngen zurück und schicken uns mit der Xtreme-Edition auf erstaunlich simple Baller-Missionen.

And back to my criticisms we go, like I said much is recycled and I know, I know this is just supposed to be an update of Delta Force 1 with some new missions but the way it was advertised in my opinion was very misdirecting. One thing I can say good about this game though is the loading times were very fast and after you load up you can choose your arsenal after that it's just like any other Delta Force game, actually that's what it's supposed to be.Lets hope soon Novalogic can stop recycling their old work and instead of releasing all these Delta Forces that are the same as the previous ones except with new missions, release something up to par with the newer games comming out.I'd say this game is not worth picking up unless you really enjoyed the first Delta Force but don't expect anything that is up to par with newer games comming out.

Delta Force a 6 ans... et ça se voit. Si un jeu comme Deus Ex vit encore bien son âge, là, ce ne sont plus des rides qu'a le jeu de Novalogic mais des fosses béantes. Même si on sent que l'IA a dû être un poil modifiée, elle reste pitoyable, tout autant que le gameplay. On s'ennuie ferme, et même si vous êtes collectionneur d'antiquités, mieux vaut avoir la pièce originale.

Delta Force est un peu devenu avec le temps le Tomb Raider des FPS.La série avait commencé assez bien (en 1999) en ayant réussi a trouver une bonne communauté, et Novalogic, son développeur, n’a pas hésité à puiser le filon. Jusqu’à l’épuisement. Dernière itération en date, Delta Force Xtreme reprend les campagnes du tout premier opus avec le moteur de Joint Operation. Une daubasse de plus à ajouter au tableau ou le renouveau de la série ? Cassons le suspense tout de suite, Novalogic n’a pas forcé son (hypothétique) talent.
