Overall, DBtS: Limb from Limb seems like a cover up. The only fault of DBtS was the quest was way to short. That wasn't improved that much. Maya's quest isn't long enough as well. But life has been breathed back into the Multiplayer section. As well as the tournament will keep you busy for hours.

Die by the Sword may be one of the most underrated action games of the past year. Lacking the Internet play that seems to keep a game in the public's consciousness, its control scheme, dubbed VSIM, remains the most revolutionary interface since Bethesda introduced mouse-look in their Terminator series. Limb from Limb is an add-on that adds enough new features to make the combo package a must-own for action game fans.

Anhänger des ersten Teils werden mit der neuen CD sicherlich zufrieden sein, wenn auch nur kurzfristig. Die Maya-Mission kann an einem einzigen Tag locker durchgespielt werden. Und ansonsten wurden auch nicht die winzigsten Verbesserungen vorgenommen. Die Grafik ist die gleiche wie im Hauptprogramm, die schon damals nicht berauschend war.

Das Addon ist vor allem für Spieler mit Netzwerk eine Anschaffung wert. In diesem Punkt legt die Missions-CD kräftig nach – und zwar nicht nur beim herrlich schrägen Oger-Hockey. Solospieler sollten Ihr Geld dagegen lieber sparen. Die neue Kampagne macht längst nicht mehr so viel Spaß wie die des Hauptprogramms: Sie ist weniger originell, aber viel frustiger.
