Electric Games
Anyway, it's a VERY amusing simulation that will test your CEO abilities. Packages like this are always a mixed bag, and it only takes one or two really good games to make the whole thing worthwhile. There's more than enough here to make that justification. If you're a Dilbert fan, you'll get all the jokes and references. If you're an office worker, you'll recognize more than a few people from your own office. Dilbert's Desktop Games is more than worthwhile, either for your home PC or at work. Just don't get caught with it at work, someone might recognize himself. Bottom Line: The games are lots of fun, very funny and entertaining. Dilbert's Desktop Games is a great diversion for anyone, office worker or not.

Adrenaline Vault, The (AVault)
An interesting thing happened while I was preparing this review. I suggested to my wife, who considers computer games to be about as culturally significant as cow-tipping, that she play a few of the programs. She spent the next 90 minutes glued to the screen, laughing convulsively, and rejecting my impassioned pleas for her to quit. I spent the next 90 minutes lamenting my suggestion and anxiously pacing the floor as I awaited my turn to play. It's not hard to imagine throngs of office workers crowded around a single monitor, laughing at the antics and in-jokes, and relieving the day's stress with a little self-deprecating humor. In fact, the game may even replace the water cooler as the social center of corporate America! The bottom line is that Dilbert's Desktop Games has strong entertainment value for its intended audience, and yields a healthy measure of satirical fun.

Dilbert's Desktop Toys is funny, but only as ghastly self-referential humor. Dilbert's Desktop Toys is the sort of software I expect from Dilbert's pointy-haired manager. The software's creators digest Scott Adams cerebral humor, and regurgitate a brainless mass barely representing its source. Dilbert's Desktop Toys shows anyone can read books like "The Dilbert Principal," but not everyone will understand them.
