Dominions 3: The Awakening Windows Magic must be researched. All spells are divided into specific schools for researching. Dominions 3: The Awakening Windows Player armies are moved between provinces, or can defend, patrol, search, research, pillage or construct buildings on an existing one. Dominions 3: The Awakening Windows Players spend points to setup the strength/type of their pretender god, as well as abilities of the dominion.
