The biggest creation of the Artematica team has been finally realized with the biggest Italian project of its time: the videogame DRUUNA MORBUS GRAVIS. It has taken almost 3 years of work to achieve. Druuna Morbus Gravis is the newest real time arcade videogame / 3D adventure.

Devised and developed by Artematica, and inspired by the best seller of Eleuteri Serpieri. In a method of adaptation by the author's design and his vanguard comes the ingredients of a creative recipe that has broken a new barrier in interactive entertainment. Its origin is a kind which mixes skill and an engaging plot with a bit blood splatter as well as sensuality.

The game unfolds in the first-person, in the role of Druuna, in a decadent world, fantastic yet timeless like BLADE RUNNER, in which music, images and the plot provides the suspense and the tension to the player.

Forced into an eternal semi-vegetable state, Druuna awaits someone to free her from her sick and crumbling world. A world populated by individuals with a terrible virus that transforms people into beasts eager for the taste of blood. Only crossing through the BRAINHOLDER, a real time computer connection directly into the mind of Druuna, the player can recreate and relive situations that have been reduced to amnesia, while finding a way to avoid individuals who have no scruples which inhabit this mental world and confront the numerous perils scattered throughout the unsettled journey toward salvation.

Therefore, the story maintains the same narrative structure of the Italian author's work, with a few modifications set out from the new piece: a prologue for a better identification of the player with the leading character, expansion of the original plot to ensure the interactivity and to lengthen game play, and the elimination of the awkward appearances present in the original comic book.

Also, from the technical point of view, DRUUNA MORBUS GRAVIS represents something really innovative: Cinematographic direction, 10 different types of music, certified audio of maximum quality DOLBY SURROUND and THX(R), volumetric light and shadows in REALTIME, hyper-realistic 3D graphics, animations MOTION CAPTURE with lifelike realism, more than 60 minutes of audio/video in full motion, translated into 7 languages.

Available in Europe and in the United States in September.
