Just Adventure
If you love ribald humor that is even more incongruous in a cutesy Disney-like animated story, then Duckman is the game you have yearned for. Probably what impresses most is that at first glance the game resembles LucasArts classics like Day of the Tentacle and Maniac Mansion, but looks can be deceiving, and Duckman is really a feathered Larry Flynt.

After I had installed Duckman and played the first sequences, my first impression was that this adventure game cannot deny a certain greasiness. Because Duckman contains the kind of slippery humor, which also characterizes the Leisure Suit Larry-series, paired with a twist of splatter. Like in the Larry-series, all is presented in comic style and 3rd-person-perspective. But the longer I played Duckman, I had to realise that it has to offer substantially more than tawdry sex jokes.

Der schräge Zeichentrick-Erpel macht auf dem Computerbildschirm eine gute, wenn auch durch die unzeitgemäße VGA-Grafik etwas pixelige, Figur.

Quandary
If you are familiar with the TV show, you know what to expect. If you are not familiar with the show, be warned - Duckman is no Donald. He is rude, opinionated, obnoxious, sleazy, irreverent, and politically incorrect. He is the master of the smart mouthed one liner, and sexual innuendo. If your sense of humour leans towards these things, he is also extremely funny.
