Trivia

Dynamix, who makes the EarthSiege/Starsiege series, had the original contract from FASA to make MechWarrior I. Then when the FASA contract expired, Dynamix was bought by Sierra Online, and FASA went to Activision for MechWarrior II. However, the guys at Dynamix wanted to continue making 'Mech games, so they started the Earthsiege series. The samething happened with Activision, because FASA worked with MicroProse on Starsiege (ES III), and Activision started their own 'Mech series, Heavy Gear. Pretty soon, every game company will have a 'Mech spinoff!
