Okay first find the healing ring in the barrel just outside of the entrance to the second part of the excise office. Then take that ring and give it to fargoth in exchange for a good attitude from the town shop keep. pretend like your leaving town and head towards the silt rider, instead of taking a right at between the two houses take a left and cross a tiny bridge and follow a moderately high path. After about a minute or less you'll come upon a book on the ground and a guy screaming. Just take everything that he has except his body and the book as well. Head back to town and go into Arrille's shop and talk to the guy up the stairs. Say you'll find fargoth's hiding place. Now climb the watch tower in town (from the inside) and wait at the top outside until around 12 or 1 am. You can do this by "sleeping" there. Okay now watch fargoth for around 2 minutes and wait until he puts his stuff in the swamp stump. Then grab all his stuff (the ring, the money, journeyman's lockpick) and go to arille's shop and barter. You'll have 400 gold to buy any armor you want with it and a little left over in the end for silt rider travelling. |
