View Mode: threaded | watch thread It's been like two days since we last discussed something about Fallout 3, so let's get to it, shall we?This might be just me not having paid proper attention to something I was already told by the game itself, like with the Pipboy light or the "wait" key, but: How come every screenshot and video I see shows the player having a trusty doggie beside them? How do you get a pet dog? I've had the animal friendly thing and wild creatures sure respect me and all, but I never had even an option to adopt a dog. It can get really lonely out there in the wastes you know =( (Edited by Ash Ligast II (1651), Feb 28, 2009) Re: Ey, ye like dags? Ash Ligast II (1651), Feb 28, 2009 Heh, looks like both of us have the exact same experiences. I only found the dog when I was already 60 hours into the game. He's at a place called "scrapyard", not too far from Megaton, to the north-east. No chance of getting a faithful cat, I suppose? No, I guess I'd have to go to JRPGs for that.
Well I'm actually more of a cat person in real life, but I admit a dog has a better chance to be helpful against Capital Wasteland's inhabitants. Unless it was some sort of mutated, particularly aggressive cat, I suppose =P
