User AvatarGuys, you really give these things too much thought: Much as it happens with John Carmack's games, the Far Cry's are nothing but tech demos, we should be thankful that they're even playable at all =P

User AvatarUnlike Carmack's games, though, Far Cry 2 takes place in a recognisable part of our world. And has you fighting against people, not mutants/demons.
