Overall I liked the game, but within several hours it became old and repetitive, which is really the only failing of this title. Multiplayer options allow players to engage in cooperative games or deathmatches, which extends replayability a little, but you really shouldn't count on keeping this one on the hard drive for long. I found that Flesh Feast is best played in 30 minute intervals when you're in need of a quick action fix, so if a quick and rewarding diversion is what you're looking for, look no further.

Well I was pretty much expecting more from this game, I had heard months before that this game wasn't too great judging from the demo. And the rumors were right, this game really sucks bad. This game is kind of like Resident Evil, except in flesh feast its a bigger environment and the game is real time 3D and has a very bad camera view. This game's graphics are extremely bad, it's very unfortunate that the graphics look like that.

All in all, Flesh Feast is yet another unsatisfying action title from SegaSoft. Though re-enacting the shopping mall sequence from Dawn of the Dead was halfway enjoyable, hard-core horror fans should wait it out for Sega's upcoming House of the Dead for some real zombie-blastin' action.

Adrenaline Vault, The (AVault)
Flesh Feast as a whole is just below an average game. There are times that the game is exciting to play, but for the most part you find yourself running around beating up the flesh-eating enemies. The challenge of keeping your teams together is a highlight of the game, along with the ability to move in and out of strategic and action modes. Where the game breaks down is in its repetitiveness of fighting zombie after zombie. The other problem with the title is its lackluster graphics. Even with a 3Dfx card the game still does not look that good on its highest resolutions. The animations of your characters running around needs a light fixing. If you are looking for a title with a lot of gore and hack 'em up flavor then Flesh Feast will be right up your alley, but if you're looking for a game with depth and stellar graphics then you should shy away from purchasing this title.

Simply put, Flesh Feast is a game that had some potential as a quick-fix action game where you could take out your pent-up aggressions on a horde of undead zombies. Instead, it makes an unsuccessful effort to combine action and strategy, throws a poor graphics engine in your face, and asks you to memorize a bunch of uninspired level maps. The game's multiplayer problems and inherent instability are just thrown in for good measure. Now, where did I put that copy of Resident Evil?

Very few games with such a weak single-player mode find enough takers to create an online community, however, so don't expect to find a lot of competition. Unfortunately, this Flesh Feast will leave you with plenty of room for dessert.
