The main menu. The game plays in both windowed and full screen modes. There are two modes to the Career game, Classic and FM2014 which has all the latest bells & whistles.

Installing from DVD invokes the STEAM installation process which means that the STEAM activation key is needed before the install can begin

When meeting players and journalists conversations are slightly different. It's important to deliver messages with the right attitude as this affects morale

When selecting a team there's always the option to get advice from the staff

The manual says that the Tactical part of the game has been overhauled. Player roles & team strategies are more prominent plus definable roles for players in multiple positions

Multiple camera angles are available

A match is not played in real time. The game shows brief periods of action then pauses until the next interesting bit comes along

The playing staff give advice during the game allowing the manager to make appropriate changes to tactics

Half time. The background screen shows the attitude and ratings of each player. In the foreground are the 'Team talk' options.
