Full Tilt! Pinball

I really liked this game. It brought back memories of Raster Blaster for my old Apple ][, and plays quite well. My personal favorite of the various tables was Dragon's Keep. Fun, replayable, and I don't watch the ball gutter every time I launch it. The physics model in the game could maybe use a tweek here and there, and doesn't seem to be at the same level as say Pinball Illusions, but it is a great deal more fun than PI was. Generally I find that most pinball games only have one or two (of four or so) tables that I actually enjoy, but I found myself playing all of the tables in Full Tilt, and even dusting off Space Cadet to give it another run through.

Full Tilt!, also known as Pinball 95 in Europe, was Maxis's first endeavor into 3D pinball games. While it wasn't perfect, the game was still fun to play, and no doubt that having the first table included in every single Windows 95 CD-ROM has largely contributed to its success. However, despite that it was a pleasant pinball, there were a few necessary changes to be undertaken, and that's what the developers have been up to since its early development.

Cinematronics has combined some fancy extras with realistic physics andfantastic visuals and served up a digital pinball simulation that is not onlybeautiful but highly entertaining too.
